CLEAN COMMUNITIES CLEAN UP THE RIVERMansfield Township Clean Communities sponsored a clean-up on April 19, 2008 performed by the Musconetcong Watershed Association. The event brought out a total of 226 volunteers. The clean-up took place along the Musconetcong River in Mansfield Township. A total of 38 bags of trash and 6 bags of recyclables were collected. Larger items collected include flower pots, a pallet, iron pipes, tires, and a kayak paddle. This is a yearly event that is always extremely successful. Posted on August 19, 2008 04:29 pm
