MUSCONETCONG WATERSHED ASSOCIATION SPRING CLEANUP

Mansfield Township Clean Communities helped to sponsor a clean-up on April 18, 2009 performed by the Musconetcong Watershed Association. The event brought out a total of 373 volunteers. The clean-up took place along the Musconetcong River in Mansfield Township. A total of 40 bags of trash and 17 bags of recyclables were collected. Larger items collected included 17 tires, 2 golf bags, 1 door, 2 beer kegs, and various pieces of metal and wood. This is a yearly event that is always extremely successful.
