Police Given Award

Mansfield Township Mayor Cate Oakley, on behalf of the Township Committee, recently presented Certificates of Recognition to, left to right, Sergeant Robert Emery, Sergeant Tom Cicerelle (Washington Township) and Patrolman Shawn Bates for the efforts in saving the life of Scott Hoagland, second from right, who was having an asthma attack.

Rescue breathing and CPR were performed after Mr. Hoagland lost consciousness and then went into cardiac arrest.
