Fall Cleanup Scheduled, Permits Available

The township will hold a fall cleanup at the DPW garage during the last weekend in September and first in October. Permits are available at the clerk’s office.

Hours for the cleanup are as follows:
Friday, Sept. 29 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 30 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 6 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 7 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers will be accepted, but the resident must have refrigerant removed before the municipality will collect it. Resident must provide certification from a technician on letterhead or another acceptable form that the refrigerant was properly removed.

Brush will be accepted if tied securely in bundles no longer then (8) feet in length. The diameter of the butts on branches no larger than (4) inches.

RESTRICTIONS:

No Household Garbage
No Hazardous Waste Materials
(Chemicals, Paint, Batteries, Industrial Waste, Etc.)

SENIOR CITIZENS:

The Department of Public Works will pick up one (1) large bulky item for senior citizens at their residence, if they are unable to bring same to garage site. When purchasing their permit, they must list their name, address and identify the article to be picked up.
