Township Clerk

The municipal clerk is responsible for processing the applications for dog, cat, marriage, limousine and taxi, peddler, bingo/raffle, liquor, vendor, food and junk dealer licenses, as well as tenant/landlord registration. The clerk is also the point of first contact for citizens looking to contact municipal officials, register to vote or for other information. The clerk is also responsible for the collection of fees and the maintenance of records. Certified copies and assessment searches are provided by the clerk, who is also a notary public. The clerk is also the registrar of vital statistics and supervises elections.

Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Identification, social security numbers and divorce decrees (if applicable) must be provided.
Must be signed in presence of Registrar by the applicants as well as by a witness over 18.

Peddler's License

Request for Certified Copies of Vital Records

This application is needed to obtain copies of birth, marriage or death certificates. Identification must be provided; in the case of death certificates proof of immediate relation to the deceased must also be provided. Application along with copies of necessary identification and a check for $10 per copy may be submitted by mail to the Registrar.
