We are proud to announce that Mansfield Police is participating in New Jersey’s Project Medicine Drop. We believe that the effort to stop the abuse and diversion of prescription drugs starts at home and we are proud to provide a location to the citizens of Mansfield to safely and securely dispose of their expired and unused medications throughout the year.
The drop box is a secured box located in the lobby of our headquarters. The box is available seven days a week. If there is no one present at headquarters please call our non emergency line 908-852-0003 and our dispatch center will have an officer respond to headquarters as soon as they are available.
The drop boxes accept solid pharmaceuticals such as pills, capsules, patches, inhalers, and pet medications. We cannot accept syringes or liquids. Please remove all personal information from your medication prior to disposal.
