About

The mission of the Mansfield Township Police Department is to improve the quality of life of our residents by working together with the community and in accordance with the Constitution to enforce the laws , preserve the peace, and provide for a safe environment.

The Mansfield Township Police Department provides twenty-four hour coverage and is currently staffed by fifteen full-time police officers and a civilian administrative assistant.  We proudly serve approximately eight thousand residents and patrol 30.5 square miles.

All emergency calls are handled through the Warren County Communications Center. If you have a true emergency please dial 911 and an officer will be dispatched immediately. If you have any other complaint or would like to speak with an officer please contact our dispatcher at 908-852-0003 and an officer will be dispatched to assist you. For reports and other matters our administration phone number is 908-689-6222.

In an effort to keep our community informed we have created a police department facebook page. We routinely post press releases that detail public safety information, arrests, and other matters our residents may be interested in.

If you have any information regarding a crime or any quality of life issues you may either speak to an officer directly or you may send an email to our general email address of police@mansfieldtownship-nj.gov. You may request to remain anonymous.

NJ Project Medicine Drop

We are proud to announce that Mansfield Police is participating in New Jersey’s Project Medicine Drop. We believe that the effort to stop the abuse and diversion of prescription drugs starts at home and we are proud to provide a location to the citizens of Mansfield to safely and securely dispose of their expired and unused medications throughout the year.

The drop box is a secured box located in the lobby of our headquarters. The box is available seven days a week. If there is no one present at headquarters please call our non emergency line 908-852-0003 and our dispatch center will have an officer respond to headquarters as soon as they are available.

The drop boxes accept solid pharmaceuticals such as pills, capsules, patches, inhalers, and pet medications. We cannot accept syringes or liquids. Please remove all personal information from your medication prior to disposal.
